FORS Accreditation Support

Health and safety documentation support for fleet operators seeking FORS accreditation. Particularly suited to construction logistics companies.

What is FORS?

FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) is the UK's leading accreditation for fleet operators, with over 4,700 companies accredited since 2008. It sets standards for safety, efficiency, and environmental performance across all vehicle types.

Many construction clients and public sector organisations require FORS accreditation for logistics operators delivering to their sites. At Silver level, FORS meets CLOCS (Construction Logistics and Community Safety) requirements, making it particularly relevant for construction supply chains.

FORS Accreditation for Driving in London

In London, for drivers working on construction contracts, it is mandatory to complete the FORS Approved Driver Training (Safe Urban Driving) within 60 days of the contract start date, unless similar driver training has been undertaken in the previous 3 years.

Why Get FORS Accredited?

  • Win construction contracts - Many sites require FORS-accredited delivery operators
  • CLOCS compliance - Silver meets construction logistics safety standards
  • Improve fleet safety - Structured approach to driver and vehicle management
  • Reduce costs - Better fleet management cuts fuel, maintenance and insurance

Note: FORS is a fleet-specific accreditation covering vehicle safety equipment, driver training (CPC), telematics, and emissions monitoring. These specialist transport elements typically require dedicated fleet management expertise. BPA supports the health and safety documentation aspects of FORS.
